Hey y'all,
So I was just wondering if you guys would pray for these people:
My family and I, because we are all really sick.
My neighbor, Cory. He is not a Christian, and I would really appreciate prayer for him. He recently went through a divorce, and I feel bad whenever I think of him.
Here is a site I wanted to share with you guys: http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=112
It's this really cool site where you can download all these awesome fonts for free. *sigh* again, I don't know if I talked about this site before or not.
The process of downloading fonts is REALLY complicated, and I will try to explain it to you, though I don't know if any of you are going to care or not.
Okay, so you go to this site and look at the font you want to download. Then you click the button that says: Download PC/ Mac OS X
A window is going to come up and it says at the top in bold font: Do you want to open or save this file? At the bottom, three buttons read: Open Save Cancel
Click 'Save'. Then another window comes up and you want to save this file in a place where you can easily find it.
Then go down to the lower left corner of your computer screen. A button (usually green, at least for PCs) that reads 'Start' sits there. Click that button, and a scroll thing will come up. Put your mouse over the button 'Settings', and then click 'Control Panel', a button on a small screen that will come up when you put your mouse of the 'Settings' button. A window will come up. Minimize that, and click 'Start' again. Put your mouse over the button 'Documents' and look ALL the way to the top of the small screen that will come up. You should see a 'My Documents'. Click on that, and another window will come up. Then go to the place where you saved that font file. I made a folder for my fonts, titled, obviously: FONTS. You should find the font file in the place where you saved it. If you don't, go back to http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=112 and save your file again in a place where you can remember it. Open the file, and there will be another few files. Highlight the one that has 'True Type Font' under the 'Type' column. Then right click, and a scroll will come up, reading Open, Cut, Copy, Delete, Properties. Click 'Cut'. Then go up one file, and you'll come back to the 'FONT' file. I have another sub-folder called 'Fontie Savie Thingie' (:D) Open that, and right-click in that file. Another scroll will come up, and click 'Paste'. You should see the font appear in the sub-folder (in my case, titled Fontie Savie Thingie [:D]) Now go back to the Control Panel, which you minimized. If you're in the Catagory view, then click the button 'Appearence and Themes'. If you're in the Classic view, then click the button 'Fonts' (you'll have to look hard-the buttons are tiny). If you're in the Catagory view, another grey window will come up after you click 'Appearence and Themes'. Off to the left side, a button (right above the buttons 'Mouse Pointers' 'High Contrast' and 'User Account Picture') reading 'Fonts' will be there. Click that button, and a white window will come up with all these big font names on it. Look up to the top, and a line of titles will read: File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, Help. Click the button 'File', and a drop scroll will appear. Click 'Install New Font'. Okay, this part is tricky. You need to FIND the file in which you left your font file (in my case, Fontie Savie Thingie [:D sorry, I just find that name amusing :D]), and then highlight the name of the font you want to install. Then click the button (above the buttons: Close and Select All) OK. A small window will come up, showing the progress of the font downloading. On my computer, it takes like one second to download, but I don't know about the rest of your computers.
Now go to your email or Word, or whatever, and use your font!
I don't know how many of you people are going to actually be able to figure out how to do it-it took me a while to get it-but have fun! I have downloaded about a MILLION fonts, and am SO glad that I found http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=112. :]
Love to y'all,

Prayer
Hey everybody,
I would really appreciate prayer—I've got a bad hacking cough. *sigh* I never knew a cough could be so painful.
Thanks :D
God's peace,
Bekah

Finished Map
Hey y'all,
Guess what?
Well - my title kind of gives it all, but - I FINISHED THE MAP!
Of L'ermïtage.
I'll upload a pic...but it's not that great - definitely not as good or as fancy or as colorful as Hannah's (she posted a pic of it on manyrandommusings.blogspot.com) but here it is-
-Bekah
PS boy it is hard to see - sorry!! I'm gonna try again, see if I can get a better pic...Okay it's kind of pointless because the pencil lines are so faint. But I just wanted to show you guys...even though it's extremely hard to see. 'Cause I don't have a scanner, I must take pictures of it and upload those pictures.

L'ermitage
L'ermitage is my newest novel.
I have been drawing this big map on the whole planet of L'ermitage-it's exciting!
I love starting new stories!
Hm I'm at a loss for what to write...
*scratch head*
I really have nothing to write about-so here ends this post.
God's love to y'all,
Bekah

An article about self-confidence--to my fellow females
Self-Confidence ((To girls especially - guys, I am not writing this really for you :D))
Self-confidence means, obviously being confident in yourself. Some synonyms to the term ‘self-confident’ are: confidence, poise, assurance. Sometimes I feel ugly, fat, and dumb. I don’t know about the rest of you, but a lot of times, I struggle with my self-confidence. For us girls, especially, adding insecurity is one of Satan’s favorite ways of discouraging us and weighing us down, sucking us into the trap of worldly worries and sinful desires. It’s one of his MANY schemes to worm his way into our hearts, trying to stain the souls that have been wiped clean by his mortal enemy—God. Regardless of our appearance, or our weight, or the size of our brains, we need to hold our heads high—if we stand alone or if we are surrounded by friends—confident in the knowledge that God loves us for who we are inside, not what we look like, or if we have rolls of fat on our bellies or not, or if we’re struggling with a subject in school, and really have to think hard to solve a simple problem. That’s what I am trying to do—look at what the people I meet are like inside, not what they look like. And, I think every girl would agree with me, that is incredibly hard.
Today’s society is built on the base of appearances. In most places, even church, the pretty girls are popular, and the ugly girls are not. You’ll have friends if you’re pretty, you’ll have no friends if you’re not. Girls start wearing make-up at earlier and earlier ages, and why? So that they can be more beautiful, of course. My mom started wearing make-up when she was sixteen, and a girl I know is wearing cases of make-up, more than enough, at the age of ten. A few of the welcoming questions that some of my friends ask on meeting are, “How do I look?” or “Do you like my mascara?” The point I am trying to make is this—today’s society thinks that self-confidence comes from outward appearances and popularity, and, often times, how many guys have crushes on you, or if you have a phone or not. But self-confidence really comes from liking yourself. And liking yourself doesn’t mean liking the way you look, or if you have a model body, but really sincerely liking yourself. And liking yourself comes from the knowledge that God likes you. In fact, he does more than that—he loves you—for forever and a day.
So if you’re struggling with liking yourself, please know that God loves you. I know that this is tough, but remember, when you stand alone, outside the crowd of giggling girls, that God doesn’t care if you’re overweight, or dumb, or if you are the ugliest girl on the planet. Make sure that your beauty lies within—not without—and that you can always walk through the crowd with your head held high, confident in the fact that God loves you—forever—and nothing can change that—ever.
