While Reading Old Emails...

...I came across this one from a friend of mine named Gabriella (she's about my age) in which she told another story

Once upon a time...

there was a guy named Jo and he sucked blood from boys and girls he is half man and half vampire. But one night he was gone. All the kids were so happy. But then he came back.

to be continued

donate blood to the kids

*cracks up* you have to love the "donate blood to the kids" part :D

Then another email from her, continuing (er...perhaps reiterating) the story of Jo:

Once upon a time .... There was a guy named Jo and he is the meanest guy on planet Earth. Every night at 12:00 he comes to my room and says I'm gona drink your blood. But on August 23rd Jo was missing and after that day he was missing agin and after that he was missing agin so all the kids were so happy but he came back to the kids houses and this time for sure

And the fascinating story of Jo ends *laughs* sorry, just had to share that. :D

AH!

I recently got some emails from my counselor from camp, Christie:

Hey Beautiful! I miss you! I just got back to school! I think about you all the time. How was the rest of summer? Tell me everything! I love you! Oh p.s. Dave told me he liked me a week ago ;) -Christie

Let me explain the Dave thing. My brother had Dave as his counselor, and Dave was Christie's best friend. She liked him, and me and my cabinmates could all tell, and so we were teasing her throughout the whole two weeks about how we knew they would get together sometime. In my reply, I told her some random stuff that happened to me over the summer, and stuff, and asked her to tell me all about Dave and what happened. This is her reply:

It is SO good to hear from you. I think of you all the time. I was so blessed to have you in my cabin. I can't wait to see you because I miss you so much. I wish I would have had someone just like you growing up because you would have been my best friend. You are awesome. School is amazing. I love my apartment. I have pictures of you girls up on my wall :) I can't believe you were right about Dave! He told me once we got back from HoneyRock. I went over to his house and he told me that he had never met anyone like me before and that he really liked me. He said that He respected me and wants to make sure that we honor God in everything. I feel so blessed to have him in my life. I told him that you girls thought that we would end up together and he got a big smile on his face. If you could pray for us that God would lead us that would be awesome. I will make sure to keep you updated :) That is so awesome that you got contacts! I bet you look beautiful! I am so excited you got a purity ring too. I know that you will stay pure and do such great things with your life. God is using you and has already used you. He used you a lot in my life this summer. I am so proud of you girl and I can't wait to continue getting to know you even better. God is so so good! I love you!
Christie

She is probably one of the most awesomest people I have ever met. She is incredible. I wish I had more time to get to know her.

Also, I just got an email from my friend Jordyn, and she is going to be doing the writing class in WEST that I'm doing... *grins* so yeah, my excitement mounts further :D

BBC Austen Films

So my mom recently got me a seven-movie set of old BBC Jane Austen films (Sense and Sensibility, Northanger Abbey, Pride and Prejudice, Persuasion, and Emma), and Abby and I watched Northanger Abbey two days ago, and Sense and Sensibility today. Northanger Abbey was REALLY good, but it had some disturbing parts. At one point, the heroine, Cathy, had a dream, and in this dream a woman was sewing her fingers together, and you could see the black stitches in the white, white fingers. It was...yeah, pretty disturbing. It doesn't sound that bad, but in reality, it kind of was. And in the same dream, this creepy guy washed his hands in a basin of blood. Northanger Abbey was about this passionate girl who loved Gothic novels full of romance and danger who came to Bath and met the man of her dreams, whose sister invited her to their estate, Northanger Abbey, in which she found a mystery that chilled her blood. It was awesome. Sense and Sensibility was 174 minutes (or somewhere around there) and was much more centered around romance. Marianna Dashwood, who I am most like of Austen's heroines, was very romantic and also obsessed with Gothic novels; she was swept off her feet by a deeply romantic and impressively handsome scoundrel who broke her heart and caused her to almost die (she pined away for days, and went into a dangerous delirium and almost died). Her older sister, Elinor Dashwood, was secretly attracted to a man who was promised to another woman, and silently suffered so as not to cause "scandal for her family," as the back of the movie reads. The man secretly loves her too, and breaks the engagement at the last minute and gallops off to marry Elinor. Marianna's heartbreaker, John (who had seduced many women in his time and struck me as shallow and insincere), came back to apologize and to admit true feelings for her when she was in the climax of her sickness; Elinor consented to passing on the message to Marianna, but in her heart harbored deep dislike for John. She told Marianna after the sickness passed, but Marianna found herself loving an older man who confessed his love for her to her mother. The movie ends on Marianna and the Colonel (the man who captured her heart to keep) discussing books, with dazed looks on their faces, clearly expressing love for each other, but not in words. Yeah, they were awesome! :D

Vacation

So, at the last minute, my mom decided to take me and my siblings up to _____ for a "last summer hurrah" as she called it. :) It was AWESOME! We stayed in this nice hotel which had a waterpark (unfortunately, Peter couldn't swim at all 'cause of his broken arm), free mini golf, an outdoor pool and breakfast buffet. *laughs* yep it was pretty awesome. We toured this AMAZING mansion that was a hundred years old last year, so it's 101 years old now, and yeah it was awesome. It was utterly stunning.
And of course I got burned on my neck *wince* so yeah there is this line where the scoop-neck of my swimming suit. The top part (all the way up to my collarbone) is red, and below that is completely white. It's gross. And if the neck sags a little bit, you see this stark white-red contrast that's just weird. So yeah, and my right shoulder got burnt, and I'm sure you all aren't interested in that so new subject *laughs*
Mini putt putt was amazing, and free, so we played it over and over and over 'cause it was one of the only things Peter could do with one arm.
And on the three hour drive up there and back down, we played the Alphabet Game (where you look for all the letters of the alphabet on various signs) a grand total of 20 and 1/2 times (we were stuck on Q on the 21st game). That game is very addicting, and fun, but I was completely sick of it by the end of the trip :D.
So yeah...now I'm waiting excitedly for school to start.

For Earwen

Right. Earwen asked how to make an animated avatar, and so here it goes. (I'm not so great at tutorials, so I apologize if this is incredibly confusing)
So first off, you need layers, not transparent, but white. The animated avatar will start from the bottom up, so have the layers you want shown first on the bottom, then the next one above that, and so on. After you have all the layers you want (at least two otherwise the point of animation is defeated), then click Save As. At the top, name the avatar whatever you want, and then save it as .gif and not .jpg or whatever. .gif. Then another window will come up (after you click Save) and it says: Your image should be exported before it can be saved as GIF for the following reasons: GIF plug-in can only handle layers as animation frames
Then you have the choice to either Flatten Image or Save as Animation (there will be other text, but it doesn't matter) so then go down to Save. Then another window will pop up and the words (underneath Animated GIF Options) Delay Between Frames Where Unspecified will be the most important thing on there. The little number thing that is opposite the Delay Between Frames Where Unspecified will be automatically set on 100 Milliseconds, but you need to change it. My first animated avatar (the There-was-life-you-saw-the-child-you-saw-my-son one) was set at 1000 milliseconds, and, as you can tell, it was too fast. My second one (the Galadriel one) was set at 4000 milliseconds. And of course if you want it really slow you can go six thousand, or whatever.
So yeah, hope that helped,

Animated Avatar!

Recently, Hannah showed me the last step that I couldn't figure out on how to make an animated avatar, so here is my experiment... (thanks SO much to Jake for finding the last picture of Arwen/Aragorn's kid for me)

Feedback please? I know it's not incredible, because it's my first animated avatar, but I thought it was semi-cool. :D

Rock

I just came back from an awesome meeting at my friends' house about this service/social co-op thing called Rock. We talked about the co-op, suggested ideas, had ice-cream, and Hannah and I went outside and walked around talking about random things...we got really wet because it was raining outside. :P
Anyways, it was pretty cool.
Tomorrow I'm going to one of my friends-from-church's birthday party sleepover (should that be sleepover birthday party? :]) so yeah I'm pretty excited for that,

Today...

...I had one of my good friends Joy come over for the whole afternoon, and it was pretty awesome. We ate lunch, then went golfing, then came back and played chess (it was very violent, I'll just say that :D...well not really, but we would never say "knock off" we would always say "kill" so my mom was like "wow the chess game sounds really violent" and of course when we'd "kill" each other's pieces we'd like throw them across the room :D), then made hilarious movies (man we made this one movie and it was hilarious we were literally laughing our heads off when we watched it afterwards...Joy's hopefully going to send it to me, and she's asking her mom if I can post it up here...we were dying from laughing so hard, after the movie, duh :D). We also wore these sunglasses (mine were HUGE, Joy's not so bad) out in overcast weather and waved at golfers, and then pulled each other around in this wagon. We tipped over multiple times, but nobody got hurt. Then Peter and Abby came out and we pulled them around for a good forty-five minutes. It looked like we had run a marathon or something we were sweating so hard. Then my mom drove her home, and then I went with my dad and sibs to Nike to get soccer gear, then had an ice-cream cone at Burger King then came back home.
Pretty awesome day.
So how are you guys feeling about school starting in like two weeks? I'm pretty excited (Side Note: I'm homeschooled)...like summer's incredible at first, but then by the end, I'm just kind of ready for a change. Most of my excitement is coming from the fact that I'm going to do this writing class with some kids I know (including my brother) and I've heard a LOT of good things about it, so I'm really really excited...and this amazing co-op that I go too every two weeks in the school year. We're doing self defense, gym, art, and court...I think that's all, so yeah it's going to be even more awesome then the writing class :D And I'm taking a lot of online classes too, so yeah; I'm going to be busy, and this year is going to be exhausting, but awesome. :D I've got awesome friends at co-op, and there's going to be a new gal named Hayley, so I'm SO excited to meet her.

Two Tags I've Been Waiting For...

First Tag:

What two qualities do you want most in your future husband? Love and faith for God, and respect/love for me.

Is there a fictional character you see as a model for your future husband? I don't really know, I'd have to think about it for a while. I really admire Aragorn though.

Where do you want your wedding? Probably a really old church with like stained glass windows and stuff.
What are your views on courtship? I would say definitely go with courtship instead of dating. Courtship is the way, I'm telling you! *laughs*

What are your views on your first kiss? Save for marriage, I guess.

Do you have or want a purity ring/locket? Yep. I have a ring.

Do you have or want a hope chest? Eventually, yes I would want one.

Will you wear a veil at your wedding? Yes.

What kind of wedding dress do you want? Something simple, beautiful, and modest.

What flowers do you want in your bouquet? roses and daisies, among other ones.

What do you want to name one of your daughters? Elizabeth or April, but my husband will definitely have input too.

What do you want to name one of your sons? I like the name Neo, but I don't know if I would name my kid that.

Do you believe in the 'knight-in-shining-armor' view of courtship? I'm not really sure what that question means.

What music do you want to play at your wedding? Cinderella, Stephen Curtis Chapman, and probably more, I just haven't really thought about it.

Are you a hopeless romantic? Yes. :D

Second Tag:

Who is your favorite male character and what book is he in?(Pick only one!!) Oh man...well...I really admire Aragorn from LoTR.

Who is you favorite female fictional character and what book is she in?(Pick only one!!) Arwen, probably, LoTR.

Who is you favorite author and what is your favorite book/series by him? I read and love so many authors, I can't decide which one. My top list is so long, but I really like Tolkien, Christopher Paolini, Frank Peretti, Lois Lowry, Shannon Hale, Jane Austen, and C.S. Lewis.

If you are writing a book, answer this question: Who is your favorite character in the book/series you are writing? Probably Meniria in the joint story Hannah and I are writing, Midnight. Isobel in Crimson Snow (also Hannah and I) and Anwyn in my story are my second favorites.

If you are not writing a book answer this question: Who is you favorite character in a book you know someone else is writing?Any other favorites you want to mention? Emily (Emily Climbs), Arwen (LoTR), Eragon (Inheritance Cycle) Aragorn (LoTR), Jonas (The Giver) and Matty (Messenger).

Least favorite character in a book you've read? Javart from Les Miserables. *shudder* I detest him.

I tag anyone who wants to do it.

Tag

Anyways, I got tagged by Jake so yeah.

If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go? I would probably go to either China, Scotland, or New Zealand.

If you could go to any fictional place where would you go? Definitely Rivendell, and if I could meet some elves, especially Elrond, Legolas, and Arwen, that would be awesome :D

Do you love to write or do you just like writing? or do you write at all? Do I write? That's like asking if I breathe. :D

What do you want to be when your a grown up? My dream is to be a published fantasy novelist, but I don't know if that's God's plan. It's definitely mine, though.

Favorite animal? Horses

Favorite song? "Ocean Wide," by The Afters and "Beautiful Ending," by Barlow Girl.

Do you like school? Most of the time.

Are you a people person because I'm getting the idea that you are? If you're saying I like people, then yes. :D

Do you like to talk? Yep.

Favorite food? I like Chinese food.

Hobbies? I love to write in my diary, talk on the phone, take walks, have sleepovers, play golf, and many more :D

Favorite Author? ohhh way to many to list. I love Tolkien, Frank Peretti, Wayne Thomas Batson, Christopher Paolini, among many others.

Favorite weapon? Ah...a bow/arrows?

Is this a fun tag or are you getting bored? Slightly bored.

Do you like Hannah Montana and all those girly people and movies like High School Musical? No. Hannah Montana disgusts me, and High School Musical bugs me. :D

What are you scared of? Well, primarily: isolation, pain, and either drowning or trapped like in a confined space, or underwater, or somewhere where there is no way to escape. I'm not afraid of death itself.

Favorite flower? Roses, definitely.

Do you always use the same password or do you use different ones? Usually different.

Do you like blogs? Yeah

What is the expression on your face? *laughs* this question is strange, but right now I'm laughing.

Color of your eyes? Hazelish, but sometimes my eyes look grey, and a lot of people have thought my eyes are like a murky blue.

Okay I tag anyone who feels compelled to do it.

Contacts!

I got contacts yesterday for soccer this fall, and I have to say they are weird! Like I'm so used to seeing everything not within ten feet of me blurry and indistinct (unless I'm wearing my glasses which isn't very often...yeah I have incredibly bad eyes), and now, to be not wearing glasses, but to have everything be crystal clear... *shakes head* CRAZY! *laughs*

It's also so weird to put them in and take them out...sticking stuff into my eyes and then pinching it back out! It's weird, all right. I'm definitely going to be wearing them most every day...they're awesome, if you get past the itchiness the first half-hour. So who else has contacts?

The Boxcar Children
By Rebekah Alden

There lived 4 children. The oldest one was Joshua, 18. The next was Kylee, 16. Next Evan, 15. Next was Rebekah, 14.
One day Rebekah looked out the window of there big house.
“I want to go outside!” She anocconed.
“No silly goose!” said Kylee “its raining!”
“Caml down!” said Joshua loudly.
“Yea!” agreed Evan.
“Okay!” said Rebekah.
They listen to the pitter patter of the rain.
“I want to go outside,” said Rebekah.
“I told you No!” said Joshua.
“Okay…!”
“Time to go to bed!" Said Joshua.
“Okay!” everyone said.

In the morning Rebekah woke first then she got dressed and went downstairs quickly and quitly for not to everyone wake up.
“Why does everyone boss me around?” she quisoined herself.
“Why am I the youngest?”
“Why do I have to be 14?”
“Why do I have to be me?”
“Why, do I?
“Rebekah?” said Kylee, coming in.
“Huh?” Rebekah turned around. “Did you hear me?”
“Yes,” said Kylee. “I know how you feel.”
“How do you?”
“Once Joshua always bossed me around once I was the youngest.”
“You, where?”
“Yes.”
It was breakfast and Rebekah chewed thoughtfully.
“Why are you so quit?” asked Even.
“Nothen.”
“Oh”
Rebekah and Kylee shered a glance.
A silent gulped the room as the 4 children chewed there breakfast slowly.
After breakfast Rebekah and Evan went to do there schoolwork.
Kylee and Joshua went outside to talk.
“This is a fine day,” said Kylee.
“Yes.”
There was a pause. Joshua broke the silence.
“You look preety.”
“Thank you,” Kyle said “you look handsome” she fluttered her eye lashes.
Down in basement Even and Rebekah where working.
“I’m Done” Evan said. He went outside with Kylee.
“Where’s Joshua?” asked Evan.
“In his room.”
Evan came and sat with kylee.
They sat there ton fifteen mintuns.
“Well, I’ll go see Joshua,” said Kylee “in his room, he must be lonesome.”
Kylee stood and went inside.
Evan lay on his back and looked up into the sky. It wasa bright blue sowling the rest of the world.
“I’ll go check the mail, see if there is any mail for me or Joshua or Kylee or Rebekah.”
He went, found some Mail for Kylee and Rebekah.
Evan went upstairs to the girls room, expecting only Rebekah, but when he opened the door Kylee was there too. Her face looked worried, so did Rebekah.
“Whuts the matter?”
“When I came in Joshua’s room, his face looked pinched, as if he hadn’t ate for days. I asked whuts the matter, he said he felt sick!”
“Why did he feel sick?” asked Evan.
“I’ll go ask him.” Said Kylee
She went and appered again. “he said he ate his lunch and saw a black thing, he thought it was a seed and he ate it.”
“Oh NO!” cried Evan “get a doctor!”
“I’ll call one,” said Rebekah hurrying on.
An hour later, the doctor looked down Joshua’s throat.
“Hm…” he said “it looks like Joshua ate not a seed…but a tick!”
“Oh No!” Kylee ran upstairs and Rebekah fainted.
Only Evan stood standing, but his face white as snow.
“My brother!” Evan gasped for air.
Kylee came downstairs, her face red from crying.
“Will he be alright? Will he be able to get out of bed?”
“he’ll be okay but it might take painchnt.”
“That’ll be okay.” Said Kylee.
The docter left.
“how should we get Rebekah up?” said Kylee.
“Let’s doump water on her”
“Okay”
They dumbed water on Rebekah and she woke up spporting the water out of her mouth.
Once Rebekah dressed in wrarm clothes she went down stairs.
Joshua was liying on the coch his face pinched and white
Evan and Kylee towerd over him there face looked far from relaxed.
The doorbell rang.
“I’ll get it” cried Rebekah.
It was Mrs. huckleberry.
She was holding a present for Joshua who was sick.
“I hope he will get better soon for my chrideren are longing for his Jokes he used to tell”
“us too” Reekah said “please come in Joshua would be plesed to have you here”

CHAPTER TWO:
Rebekah was writing.
Evan was reading.
Kylee was drawing.
And Joshua was asleep.
Rebekah was writing about a girl her age who livied alone in the woods, and fed on berries and roots.
Evan was reading about Robon Hood and his crew and how he stole from the rich and gave to the poor. And now his crew grew bigger and bigger.
Kylee was drawing a pichutre of a town and all the people running around and selling, bying and playing all the towns people loved there town by the looks Kylee put on their faces.
Joshua was dreaming, dreaming a horrible dream where he was bound hand and foot and thrown into the river where monsters sowlled him up.
“I’m bored!” said Rebekah putting down her notepad. “My story’s getting boring”
“Why?” asked Kylee looking up from her pad.
“Because I don’t have any Idieas for it.” She replied
Rebekah was taking a walk, thinking of an Idia for her story.
“I can have someone feed a Lion…No that’s too boring…”
At the house Kylee fed Joshua his medicine and Evan watched. He watched the gooey pink stuff go into Joshua’s mouth.
“Ugh that must be disgusting stuff!”
“I guess it is” said Kylee.
Evan looked up at his 16teen year old sister.
“Kylee, will he get better?”
“I think so”
Kylee hoped hoped and prayed. Joshua was slowly getting better and Kylee was thankfull but she would hope and pray intill he was better.
Evan did the same but his prayers where shorten then Kylee’s because he loved Joshua too it just his days were more busy then Kylee’s.
Rebekah loved to whrite. Evan loved to read. Kylee loved to draw. Joshua loved to play.
There hobbys were different but there lives were the same.
Joshua was waking and he knew he would have to eat his madincine.
He did not want to and his dream troubled him gratly.
Kylee went outside to hope and pray.
“Oh Lord God, Please help Joshua to get better soon and not get hurt and allow the sickness may leave his body quickly and gracefully so not to leave any sickness behind it.”
In 4 weeks, Joshua was better but very weak in his legs and stomace. His arms were not so strong but he was well agen.
“He’ll feel much better in 1 more week.” Said Kylee.
“He will?” asked Rebekah.
“Yes” said Kylee “The docter said so himself too.”
“Yippee!” cried Rebekah. “Then in 1 more week me and him can play War or Make a Match or Minopoly or Uno or Risk. We can listen to his Jokes, Stories, Knock’s Knock’s Jokes. We could play horses or planes or Legos or anything! We could go outside or play with the new neighbors. I can’t wait tell one more week!”
But in one more week when Joshua awoke from his deep sleep he will dispoint Rebekah greatly.
“Joshua, want to play Make a Match or Minopoly or Risk or Uno or horses or…I know lets go outside and play with our frands.”
“Oh…No I can’t I’m to tired maybe you can do those things with evan instead.”
“What!” I…can’t believe this, I’ll…I’ll…I’ll…I’ll tell Kylee!”
Joshua was sitting in his room watching people and things pass by with his binoculars.
“Akkool!” said Joshua as he looked at the lisences plate of a car.
“Okay” said Rebekah who was writing it down.
Rebekah was playing on the computer and she went to “Acarda Games” Joshua watched to make sure she did it right. She was playing Tank Games.
“Turn right…watch out…there’s a tank!”
“Okay.”
“hurry…shoot him…hurry…get that!”
“get that green thing?”
“yes…hurry…There’s a tank, turn left…move forward in attack!”
“Okay.”
“There’s a helicopter shoot him shoot him again. Now get that red thing shoot him!” Joshua kept giving orders.
Kylee and her friend were playing.
THE END.

*cracks up* I have come to the conclusion that I wrote lousy stories when I was seven. :D

Well...

...I made a blog button for my sis! I got Photobucket, and got the html coding for the blog, but then messed it up somehow, and then had to fix the html which *sigh* was kind of tedious, but I finally figured it out and yeah! I whooped suddenly and at the top of my lungs when I figured it out, tested it, and saw that it worked and everyone in the room jumped :D

Go check it out, take it and put it on your blog!

Anyways, so I was organizing my many writing notebooks and came upon this story that I wrote like four years ago, and it was called the "Boxcar Children" (a weak imitation of the Boxcar Children) by "Rebekah Alden". I'm going to type it up on the computer soon and then I'll post it up on here, so y'all can laugh at it. :D

I'm "Linking Up"!

I just finished reading Lynette Kraft's newest post, and she had the idea to help us Christian ladies connect and relate to each other and encourage each other. Here's my ten facts about myself....
1. My main priority for dress is comfort; I don't really care if the colors clash :D
2. I love music; when I went to camp, and was away from my radio, the thing I missed most was music.
3. I have always had a secret craving to be a princess in a castle far away in the hills of my imagination. Although I know that life for princesses in the earlier centuries weren't exactly picnics.
4. I love to sing loudly to my favorite songs...my voice isn't necessarily great but it's pretty good.
5. My favorite verses are Deuteronomy 31:8 and 1 Peter 5:7.
6. I have conversations with the characters in my stories.
7. I think there is nothing prettier then looking out at the golf-course beyond my backyard in the early morning, when mist still circles the sloping hills and dew coats the green grass, and the sun is just beginning to rise. *dreamy sigh* It's beautiful.
8. I love candles; they're so much more romantic then lights.
9. A beautiful sun-rise, a story-plot, or a meaningful song will bring tears to my eyes almost instantly.
10. I'm an "eternal slave to beauty," as L. M. Montgomery puts it.

Okay I'm serious this is the last goodbye. ^_^ See you guys later!!

Purity Ring...and Real Goodbye :D

I got my purity ring today! *grins and holds up right hand to reveal silver ring on middle finger* it's so pretty. :) I originally planned to wear it on my ring finger, as that's where wedding rings are worn, but it's too big, so I'm wearing it on my middle one for now. *smiles* There are some pictures....Yeah, it says "Purity" in Greek on it, and then has a verse inscribed in the inside, with the words "Remember Me."
Alright...this is the REAL good-bye!! *frantically waves good-bye, while at the same time, admiring the flashing ring on her finger*

Bye!

Later today I'm leaving with my family for a cabin with our friends. I'll be back on Sunday, sometime.
See you all later!

Ocean Wide, by the Afters

I really love this song *wipe away tear* It's so...wonderful. It's the second song on my play list, so if you haven't heard it, go listen to it, it's amazing.
Look outside
It's already light and the stars ran away with the night
Things we're said, words that we'll try forget,
it's so hard to admit
I know we've made mistakes
I see through all the tears but that's what got us here
[Chorus:]
If love is an ocean wide
We'll swim in the tears we cry
They'll see us through to the other side
We're gonna make it
When love is a raging sea
You can hold on to me
We'll find a way tonight
Love is an ocean wide
I'll stay right here
It's where I'll always belong
Tied with your arms
Days like this, I wish the sun wouldn't set
I don't want to forget
What made us feel this way
You see through all my fears
And that's what got us here
[Chorus]
If love is an ocean wide
We'll swim in the tears we cry
They'll see us through to the other side
We're gonna make it
When love is a raging sea
You can hold on to me
We'll find a way tonight
Love is an ocean wide
Love is an ocean wide enough to forget
Even when we think we can't

My Bestie

Alright, I'm going to take a moment, and talk about my best friend, Hannah.
She has strong views on many things, so I can always talk about heavy things like marriage and dating, and every time I do, I find that we both have exactly the same opinions. I can always talk with her, cry with her, and I've discovered the other half of my soul in her.
She's such an awesome person, but she is not afraid to tell me plainly if I'm being stupid; she always tells me the truth. She also has been a HUGE help in my writing. She's edited my stories without complaint, and given me assistance when I'm stuck.
Hannah, I love you!! Thanks so much for everything...you're awesome.

Today...

...I am going over to my friend Jordyn's house...so excited.

On Thursday, my family and I are leaving for our family-friends', the Pukals, cabin for three nights...that'll be a lot of fun too.

Oh, and unfortunately, this post has to be marred with some bad news...Peter, my younger brother, broke his arm by colliding with my neighbor on scooters. Prayer for him would be highly appreciated. Peter's really disappointed because he doesn't get to swim at the cabin because of his cast.

Playlist!!

I just got a playlist!!! Isn't it amazing? *dreamy sigh* Man. This is so cool!! :D
Check it out; listen to my favorite songs!! *whoop*
*laughs* :D

Psalm 13

This is definitely one of my favorite Psalms:

Psalm 13
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 How long, O LORD ? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
and every day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?
3 Look on me and answer, O LORD my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death;
4 my enemy will say, "I have overcome him,"
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
5 But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
6 I will sing to the LORD,
for he has been good to me.

I love that Psalm. ^_^

Today...

...I talked with Hannah on the phone for about an hour. Hannah, you're AMAZING!! Thanks so much for being my best friend. You're awesome!

I also did chores and Chinese. And that's pretty much it :D

I'm Reading...

I'm re-reading the Emily of New Moon series this last week, and am strongly reminded of how much in love I am with those books. Emily is a character that I can totally relate to. Me and her are so alike in every way. It's such an amazing series; I love it.

What else is new...well tonight I did about a half-hour Bible study with myself and God out on the mound of our one-acre lot. The sun was setting, the breeze was just right...it was amazing.
